CALGARY, AB (October 12, 2017) INNOVA Global Ltd. (INNOVA), an international leader in emissions and noise control, announced today that it has acquired the shares of the multinational gas turbine auxiliary equipment specialist, Braden, from Global Power Equipment Group. The acquisition includes Braden Manufacturing LLC (BUSA) in Tulsa, Consolidated Fabricators (CFI) in Auburn, Massachusetts and Braden-Europe (BEUR) located in Heerlen, the Netherlands.

Braden has been awarded a $5.2MM order for a 880 MW combined cycle power plant add-on project near Jakarta, Indonesia. Braden’s scope consists of two, large-frame GT diverter dampers with 45m bypass stacks and all associated horizontal ducting, which expands Braden’s installed base of gas turbine auxiliary equipment in Indonesia. This project is part of a 35,000 MW power expansion program launched by the Indonesian government in an effort to service the growing demand for electric power within the region and operation of this new power plant is slated for 2018. This project is for the supply of two Pulse Filter Houses, each with 700 sets of Braden pulse filters and module to support 500 HEPA filters. Delivery is scheduled for 2Q 2018. This project represents the ninth project (and 16th and 17th unit) of its kind with this large OEM in the Korean market since 2012. Braden is pleased to announce the award of a $4.2MM order for a 889MW combined cycle power plant located in Escobedo, Nuevo LeÓn, Mexico. Braden will supply two, 501J inlet systems, each consisting of a self-cleaning, pulse filter house and a upper inlet duct. This order further increases the Braden presence in Mexico and the Central American region and will help meet growing demand for electricity in northeastern Mexico. The project is slated for completion in July 2018 and, once commissioned, will be the most efficient and one of the largest combined cycle power plants in Mexico. Braden has recently been awarded a $6MM order for two Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems for a 200 MW dual-fuel Simple Cycle Power Plant in Medway, Massachusetts. These SCR systems are used to reduce plant emissions (Natural Gas: 2.5 ppmvd for NOx and VOC, 5.0 ppmvd for CO and Ammonia; Liquid Fuel: 5.0 ppmvd for NOx, CO, VOC, and Ammonia) and are designed for dual use operation with turbine maximum mass flow rate of 1,842,000 LB/HR on natural gas and 1,832,000 LB/HR on liquid fuel. The scope of the project includes Ammonia Injection Grid (AIG), ammonia vaporization skid, horizontal ductwork, tempering air systems, exhaust flow distribution, CO and NOx catalysts, 160-foot tall exhaust stacks, and ladders & platforms. Delivery is scheduled for January 2017. These SCR systems represent the 11th and 12th systems of its kind with this large OEM in the US market.
