We deliver performance and product efficiency for customers in power generation, oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial sectors. Our offices are strategically positioned to provide global access to our expertise while maintaining a local focus in everything we do. We are a leading supplier of auxiliary equipment for major gas turbine OEMs and a trusted provider of aftermarket products and services for gas turbine operators worldwide.

Role, Team & Location

We are looking for a technically driven Process Engineer to join our Engineering team in Heerlen, the Netherlands. In this role, you will contribute to the process engineering behind our gas turbine auxiliary systems. Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will translate customer requirements into technically sound process solutions through calculations, component selection and technical documentation.

You will report to the Engineering Manager and work closely with Project Engineers, as well as colleagues from other engineering disciplines, suppliers and subcontractors. You will initially work under the guidance of experienced engineers while gradually taking greater ownership of design, calculations and technical coordination as your knowledge and experience develop.

Key Responsibilities

As a Process Engineer, you help turn technical and customer requirements into reliable process designs. You perform and verify process calculations, determine the impact of process-related components on the overall design and select and size equipment such as motors, fans, injection lances and instrumentation. You also develop key process documentation, including P&IDs, functional descriptions and commissioning procedures, ensuring that the final solution meets both customer and Braden requirements.

Throughout the project, you work closely with Project Engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to align technical solutions and identify potential issues at an early stage. You assess design changes and their impact on the wider project, support root cause analyses where required and help ensure compliance with applicable quality and environmental requirements.

Your involvement goes beyond engineering at the office. Depending on the project, you may visit customers, project sites and suppliers and provide support during commissioning and system tuning, either remotely or on-site. This gives you the opportunity to see how your engineering work performs in practice and use that experience to continuously improve our solutions.

What You Bring

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred;
  • An engineering background with an interest in process engineering, calculations and technical systems;
  • Experience with process calculations, technical documentation or engineering within a project environment is an advantage;

  • A collaborative mindset and comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team;
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken;
