Summary
Responsible for execution of requested operational purchasing processes and assistance in inventory contro.
Essential Function
- Issues enquiries and/or purchase orders in accordance with division policies and procedures
- Keeps trace records of on time material deliveries and makes sure material is procured within budget
- Checks order confirmations and the receipt of the OC’s
- Checks and approves incoming invoices about compliance and correctness
- Controls and distributes the required documentation, such as material or test certificates and quality documents
- Monitors delivery note, order confirmation and material certificate
- Establishes relationships with suppliers and operational staff, works closely together with Buyer and Logistic employee
- Assists manager in ensuring efforts are made to achieve department objectives efficiently.
- Carries out general administrative tasks and other essential tasks as assigned
Our requirements
- Completed commercial/administrative education
- Several years of relevant work experience, preferably gained in a technical/engineering environment
- Excellent computer skills
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Ability to work well with others and to interact with individuals at all organizational levels; conducts self in polite and professional manner
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Motivated to learn, willing to take training lessons, improve skills
