Role, Team & Location

We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our team, based at our office in the UK, Cramlington. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and continuously improving the quality management system, ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.

As Quality Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain, while acting as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders. You will report to the Business Unit Director and play a vital role in strengthening our quality culture within an international environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Manager, you ensure that quality is embedded in every step of our processes, from design and production to delivery and aftersales. You take ownership of the quality management system, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and certifications. You act as a strategic partner to the business, identifying risks and opportunities, and translating these into practical improvements that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction. By analysing performance data, audits, and non-conformities, you steer corrective and preventive actions that lead to sustainable results.

In addition, you play a key role in managing internal and external audits, maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and fostering a culture where quality awareness and accountability are part of daily operations. Through your leadership, you elevate quality standards while balancing efficiency and operational excellence.

 

What You Bring

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a quality management role within a technical or industrial environment
  • Experience with quality standards; ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001

 

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus
